Chris has always had a passion for landscaping, at the age of 12 in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains Chris started pushing a mower. It was a small 6 unit apartment complex, and that is all Chris would need to get his journey started. In 1998 he moved to Phoenix, and his dream became a reality…year round landscaping!
In 2005 Chris joined the team at Trinity Landscape. It was at there that he really grew and developed as a leader. During the next 4 years at Trinity Chris oversaw the construction division and eventually the maintenance division. Chris played a critical role in helping Trinity grow to over a $2M company, servicing over 130 commercial and residential customers. It was during this time that he started to get the entrepreneurial itch.
In 2009, Chris’s passion as a entrepreneur, landscaper, and for making a difference in peoples lives all came together as he launched Cornerstone Landscape.
Chris is a member of the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA), certified in Sustainable Landscape Management (SLM), and a Certified Arborist, recognized by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
His journey over the past 20 years helped him realize that pushing a mower wasn't a means to an end, it was a way to impact lives. Chris had a dream that when he started a company it wasn't going to change just his life or the lives of his family, but would also change the lives of everyone who would interact with Cornerstone Landscape.
